Elea Eluanda – really called Elea Mischnik – is a nice, normal 13 year old girl. She attends school, does a lot with her friends, likes to do sports and loves reading.

Elea lost her parents in an accident and due to the injuries she endured has been in a wheelchair ever since. This is of course a terrible fate to suffer. Fortunately she has got her magic blue owl, Ezechiel, who is always there when she needs him, especially when she needs to be comforted. Zechy is a real comforter owl.

Comforter owls live in Arambolia, a secret dream country. There with Zechy and their best friend Ravi they experience a lot of unusual things. As long as they are in Arambolia, Elea is even able to walk again. In addition Elea Eluanda turns into an Arambolian princess and Ravi an Arambolian prince. But even in their home town Altenberg, the three of them have many exciting adventures.

Whether here or there Elea proves that she has not lost her courage, that she is pretty intelligent and that she never lets anyone get the better of her. Elea’s world, however, is not only for girls. The very imaginative stories are about self-confidence, friendship and fairness and are just as appealing to boys as to girls.
